With the hype reaching its fever-pitch, Apple launched the three new iPhones, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR, for the year 2018. Thanks to the leaked pictures of the phones and the estimated prices of the trio right before Apple's launch event, it didn’t leave much for imagination except a few surprises.
All three iPhones are the first to possess tech giant’s very own A12 Bionic CPU, the first commercially available 7nm processor, more efficient than the last year’s A11 chip in the iPhone X. Also, the trio is dual sim-enabled. While the successors of the previous year’s iPhone X; iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max have virtually the same specs but are of different sizes. The iPhone XR is said to be “budget-friendly”, with a notch lower than the iPhone XS and iPhone XS MAX.
iPhone has previously launched cheaper phones which were a bargain but none of them survived very long because of the mediocre designs than the mainstream phones. But the new iPhone XR shares almost the same specs and features. Also available in different colours - white, black, coral, yellow, blue and red, the new bargain phone has a small battery and 6.1-inch LCD display and an aluminium and glass body. It has a single rear camera.
The iPhone XS and XS Max comes in silver, space grey and gold and with AI-enhanced dual cameras. With a giant display notch of 6.5in OLED screen, iPhone XS Max has the largest display. While retaining a familiar design to iPhone X, iPhone XS has a display of 5.8in OLED screens and stainless steel and glass body but bigger and cheaper than the former.
Pricing of phones are as follows
|iphone XR 64 GB||$749|
|XSMax's 64 GB||$1,099|
